OBITUARY
NOTED SOUTH AUSTRALIAN. (Received 12.45 p.m.) ADELAIDE, This Bay. The death is announced of Alfred William Styles, at the age of 52. The late Mr. Styles was secretary to the Vaughan Cabinet and "was one of the leaders of the early closing and weekly half-holiday movements. —A. and N.Z. WELL KNOWN CHEMIST. WELLINGTON, This Day. W. P. Barraud, a native of Wellington, aged 75 years, is dead. , The deceased was formerly a chemist, but for many years past became interested in art and he was an artist of merit. —Press Asssn.
