The Communists who 'demonstrated outside Brixton prison carried a resolution demanding the release of their convicted comrades and decided to make a daily demonstration outside every London prison until such release is effected. —Sun. • ■

Th executive of the Miners' Federation has unanimously protested against what it terms the "altogether unwarrantable and severe sentences" imposed on the 12 Communist officials who were recently sentenced for sedition. It alleges political bias and demands the immediate release of the men also the prevention of "this attempt to interfere with the freedom of the press, of speech and of opinion."

The General Council of the Trades Union Congress and the executive of the Labour. Party have jointly called on organised labour to participate ih a campaign of protest against what they regard as the severity of sentences imposed on the Communists and to demand their release.
