THE WOOL CLIP.
During tjie past week or two the sheep farmers of the district have been particularly busy shearing their flocks. The weather conditions very often hindered the work of the shear• j er, but despite that fact some good I tallies were made. Messrs Love and ] Gunson have, up to the present, shorn ; 3300 at the former's shed and have I ready for the market 63 bales. Conj trary to expectations, the sheep handli ed are in very forward condition, the ! lambs being especially so. j Messrs.. Stephens have nearly comj pleted shearing their flock and the i shearers engaged there also report j that the sheep, more particularly the j wethers, are in excellent condition, j Mr ft. Berridge recently installed a j machine, and expects to start work on • his sheep in the course of a day or , two.
