COMPARATIVE STATISTICS.
(Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 14. Lloyd 'a Register ' shows that the total tonnage of shipping undeT construction in the world at June 30 was 2,370,000, of which 1,128,000 comprised motor ships. British yards were building 1,094,000 tons, which was 72,000 below the total for the previous quarter, while the rest of the world was 45,000 higher, with I,276,ooo.—Reuter.
