CLAIM FOR £10,000.
DANNE VIR.KE, This Day.
A writ has been filed in the Supreme Court, Wellington, by Mr E. Gibbard, solicitor, Dannevirke, acting on- behalf of Alice Maud Ward, against the publisher and managing editor of "New Zealand Truth," Wellington, claiming £10,000 damages for alleged libel in respect to an article which appeared on February 2, 1924, reporting an action in the Dannevirke Magistrate's Court in which plaintiff was one of the litigants. . The ease is expected to bo heard at the coming session of the Suprema Court in Wellington.—Press Assn.
