SOCIALIST BALLOT. DECIDING GOVERNMENT'S FATE. (Received 12.40 p.m.) PARIS, June 23. The referendum of the Socialist Parliamentary Party on its attitude towards the Government resulted in the motion in favour of complete liberty of action, involving withdrawal of support from the Government, obtaining 60 votes, while the motions in favour of supporting the Government if it acceded to the Socialists' wishes and continuing support obtained 47 votes and 12 votes respectively. ■
It is expected that the Government's fate will be decided in the Chamber this afternoon when M. Painlevo makes his statement regarding Morocco.—A, and N.Z.
