HEAVY RAIN COMING
The Government Meteorologist reports the following weather forecast for 24 hours from 9.a.m. today:
'The indications are for northerly winds, strong to gale, and backing by north to west. The weather will be cloudy to overcast. Heavy- rain is to be expected, with rivers rising shortly. The barometer is falling. The seas will be heavy .and the tides very low.
