The towns "that at present appear to lo threatened are GunHagai, Wagga, Forbes, Cqndobolin, Dubbo and Warren. The losses in the Windsor district ■will be severe, especially to vegetable growers. It is est.iniated that over 1,000,000 cauliflowers and cabbages lave been destroyed. Some late maize crops have also been lost. The water is still rising and some streets -in the "town itself are flooded. Torrential rain is still in evidence. A wing of the Carfibee River at JJongbong Iras broken its banks and "low-lying land for miles is covered. Over seven inches of rain fell at Mossvale between Friday and Monday. The Hawkesbury River at Richmond Tose to 48 feet above summer level. It -is now two and a half miles wide, making crossing impossible.
