This afternoon a motor car slciddeifV and tipped over on Mannu Ifoad, thdA two occupants, Mr. and Mrs. Georg<j C.'ites, of Houto, being thrown out# "Both were admitted to the Whangarel Hospital suffering from shock bruises, but it is understood tliaf neither is seriously hurt, although thejj had a fortunate escape from mpre| severe injuries.
