A message from Toronto states:—The General Council- of the United Church of Canada instructed the executive council to register o formal protest with the Secretary, of State against the use by any religious body of the titles of any churches entering the United Church. This action is a direct challenge to the decision of those remaining Presbyterians to call themselves the Presbyterian Church in Canada. — A. and N.Z.
