CHOSEN BY LABOUR, CHANGE IN QUEENSLAND. (Received 9 a.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. The Labour Party elected Mr W. N. Gillies Premier, in succession to Mr E. G. Theodore, resigned. Mr Gillies was previously Minister of Agriculture.—A. and N.Z. CABINET CHANGES. (Received 12.45 p.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. Mr W. McCormack has been selected as deputy leader of the State Parliamentary Labour Party. Mr Brennan, who has been Minister for Public Instruction, has been appointed a Judge of the Supreme Court. Two new Ministers, Messrs Wilson and T. Dunstan have been chosen.—A. and N.Z.
