The jury awarded Mrs Lubback £.300 in the breach of promise ease against Frank Greswold Williams, and judgment was entered accordingly, ' with costs. The Judge in summing up said the jury had to decide whether the defendant proposed while in a state of erotic and alcoholic imbecility.—A, and N.Z.
