KOREAN CHRISTIANS. MISSION INDEPENDENCE. THE BONE OF CONTENTION. (Received 12.35 p.m.) TOKIO, February 9. Three thousand Korean Christians of opposing factions battled for two hours at Baicyo, requiring the entire police, gendarmie and fire department o/. the city to disperse them. One faction, declaring tlie independence of the Canadian Mission, seized the church, the other factions attempting to oust them. There were many casualties. There is a strong movement among Korean Christians to seize independent control of Mission property.—Sun.
