THREE OCCUPANTS DROWNED,
WAIROA (H. 8.), This Day.
Sergeant Wade has received word that a motor launch containing a party of six capsized while fishing off Whakaki, about 10 o'clock this morning. Three Natives, Puru Solomon and Wi Toko Hamana, and a new arrival were drowned. The other three reached shore safely. Particulars are meagre at present. —Press Assn.
