The "Gazette de Charieroi" declares that the Dawes scheme will reduce Germany 's' coal to 10 per cent, below the present world price, resulting in capture of the world markets. The Ruinproduction alone will soon enable Germany to double her pre-war exports. — A. and N.Z.

BERLIN, August 25.
The debate on the London Conference pact has begun in the Reichstag.
Herr Hergt, Leader of the Nationalist. Party, declared that the party disapproved the pact and would therefore oppose all measures connected with it. He intimated that he was regretfully compelled to submit a n'o-confidenee motion owing to the unsatisfactory position of the Ruhr arising from the London determinations.
