TAKE DETERMINED STAND. EQUAL PAY WITH MEN. WANGANUI, This Day. A representative meeting of local women teachers passed a resolution protesting strongly against differentiation of salaries between women and men, de« manding equal pay for equal work ancl stating that dilYerentation is a retrograde step and a serious iblot on the* otherwise progressive administration of our present Minister. The resolution adds that women teachers are determined to have differentation abolished and that the general public will neve^ hear the last of it. until this occurs. v The resolution, and a report of thd { argument will be forwarded to Ihe Minister.—Press Assn.
