Tho programme as adopted by the executive for the 1025 meeting is a

most attractive one. It contains new

features, more especially in the further

encouragement of the "B" Grade and

the "Tyro" competitions. A Service

Teams aggregate lias also been added. The conditions of t'he four Service

matches remain as before, comprising rapid, snap shooting, falling plate, and moving target. The number of prizes in each match is increased from 25 to ■ 45 and the prize money from £23 to £35. In the Service aggregate the J number of prizes is increased from 13 to 20, and the prize money from £21 to £-K'. A Service Teams match has been added with five prizes of n total value of £20. In the opening match, not counting for the Belt, the prizes aro confined to the respective grades, and are increased from 5S to 105, thy j value advancing from £G0 to 100. In I each of the seven matches for the Belt, J both B grade and Tyros are eligible to win the prize? in the A grade list, is ■well us having their own prize lists confined to their particular grades. In these matches the number of prizes is j increased from 58 to 90, and in value [ from £00 to £100. In the "Kings'. , i ; the number of prizes is increased from j 40 to 50, and the value from £110 to . £200. As the bulk of the men gaining ! places in the coveted "Kings" fifty: are "A" grade competitors, special aggregates have been provided for , J both the "B" grade and the "Tyro" ; I men. In each of these there are 12 ' 1 prizes of a total value of £20. The ' ; mjiMies for these aggregates are j ' "B" series, numbers one to eight. In , the Trer.t'ham aggregate (short range), ] the prizes are increased fr0m..3(5 to 50, i and the value from £46 to £07. The : Bislo.y aggregate, long range, is in- ] creased to the same extent. The Do- f minion match is increased from £95 \ to £150 and the number of prizes from i 54 to 80. The Imperial aggregate goes 1 from £7S to £150 and the prizes from ] 40 to SO. In the Champion Teams i march the prize list is increased from £31 to £50. The Service aggregate I carries with it three medals, gold, c silver and bronze, winner also hold- t ing the Kynock cup. i the Ballinger Belt takes the Association's gold medal and gold badge, the next three men taking the Association's silver stars. The balance of the first twenty-five receive N.JJ.A. badges. The winner of the Bisley aggregate holds the Croxton cup. Tho Grand aggregate carries three medals, gold, silver and bronze, the first bein£ presented by the President, Col. E. J. Collins, C.M.G. The Tyro aggregatetakes a gold medal presented by the Kiwi Rifle Club, Dunedin. B grade aggregate. The highest scorer in this aggregate, will secure a gold medal presented by Mr. S. F. MeLean, Wellington. The historic District Challenge Shield accompanies the champion teams match. The Colonitl Ammunition Company's cup goes with the Long Range teams match, aaid the same donor's beautiful shield is competed for in the Rifle Club champion teams match. The Dawson Shield is allotted to the North and South Islaaa teams match, the Club Coffee cup to the Imperial aggregate, the Islington cup to the winning team in the falling plate match, and-the Rifle cup to the highest scorer in the final stage of the Kings. As time permits, extra matches will be fixed. This is the most comprehensive programme yet issued in New Zealand, and it is confidently expected that a largely increased entry will result, especially as the executive has so fully catered for the medium and junior shots.
