The lecturer 011 rising was greeted with a round of applause. She instanced that the Great War demanded a great peace, by reason of the object, lessons which had been brought home to all. The scars of that conflict would remain for many a day. j War brought about crime, j loss of life and suffering. There was j little gained. The solution of the ! prevention of war was undoubtedly reliance 011 Almighty God, and the women were probably to be the salvation of the universe.
