SPRING SHOW.
ENCOURAGING PROSPECTS. in connection with tlic forthcoming Whangarei Spring Show, which is to be held on October 20 and 30, are now taking form, and it is anticipated that this year's fixture will again eclipse all previous shows. Donations to the prize fund are coming in, the latest being £10 10s from the Auckland Racing Club and £3 ?>s from the Whangarei Racing Club for the best thoroughbred yearling, the winner to be eligible for t'he Stud Book. The schedule of classes and prize list is being made up and it is anticipated that it will be circulated in a week or two. Those desirous of making donations are requested to make their wish known to the secretary in order that their donations may be included in the official list published in the schedule. Various additions and alterations have been made in the schedule, and it is hoped that everyone will find some class or classes in which to exhibit.
