! CRIMINAL INTENTION QUESTION, PALMERSTON N., This Day. At the Supreme Court to-day Herbert Harold Payne, charged with beaking and entering and theft at Dannevirke, was found guilty. Sentence was deferred till to-morrow. . The case for the Crown was that ac- i cused was found asleep on premises, the glass door of which was broken enough to admit a man's body. The accused was wearing an overcoat, the property ! of the firm on whose premises he was found.
