SAME BRUSH

"LABOUR CONSERVATIVES."

BUFFERS FOR CAPITALISTS.

TILLET ANATHEMA

(Received 10.20 a.m.)

LONDON, August 4

The "Daily Mail" says: "There is increasing disatisfaction in the rank and file of the Labourites with the Cabinet's mild policy. Mr J. Wheatley, Minister of Health, is the leader of the malcontents, who are summoning conferences at various centres during the recess to discuss a resolution demanding Socialistic legislation, especially measures to deal with unemployment.

Mr Ben Tillet told the annual conference of the Social Democratic Federation that there was a great deal of Conservatism in the Labour movement. He saw little difference between the present and the previous Government oil important points, except that the present Government had more talk. There were Labour Ministers only too willing to act as buffers for capitalistic parties. Some subtle underground work was proceeding in that connection. —Sun.
