BODY IN A POND.

CESSNOCK SENSATION

QUARRELSOME TINKERS

(Received 11.20 a.m.)

SYDNEY, This Day.

The victim of the Cessnock tragedy has been identified as Patrick Murphy. It appears that about two months

ago two, tinkers visited houses in Cessnock looking for work. They were seen one evening not far from the scene where the body was found engaged in argument, but as the quarrel seemed to be more angry than violent little notice was taken at the time.— A. and N.Z.
