LEVEL CROSSING FATALITY.
CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.
Henry Woodley, 62 years of age, married, a retired farmer, late of Earnslaw Station, Glenorchy, Otago, wns struck by an engine at Ensor's road crossing, Opawa, last night, while walking over the railway crossing. He received injuries from which he died on the way to the hospital in an ambulance. —Press Assn.
