LOCAL BODY NOTICES : KAMO TOWN BOARD. | SATES: 1924--1925. ! pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Kamo Town Board in pursuance and exercise of its powers under "The Town Boards Act, 1908," '' The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920," "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, intends at its Meeting to be held on FRIDAY, 11th July, 1924, to Make and Levy the following Rates:— OVER THE WHOLE OF THE KAMO TOWN DISTRICT.—A General Rate of lifd. in the £. OVER THAT PORTION OF THE KAMO TOWN DISTRICT KNOWN AS THE NO. 1 ELECTRICITY SPECIAL RATING AREA.—A Special Rate of jd. in the £. The foregoing said Rates to be on the Unimproved Value of All Property as appearing on the Valuation Rolls for the Kamo Town District and for the period commencing on the Ist day of Aprilj 1924, and ending on the 3.lst day of March, 1925, and payable in cadi case in one sum on the 26th day of July, 1924, at the Board's Offices, Kamo, to Lionel James Meredith, the Board's Collector, or to such other persons as may from time to time be appointed to collect the same. A Penalty of 10% will be added to all Rates remaining unpaid after the 26tli day of January, 1925. WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL. PUBLIC NOTICE. is hereby given that the Whangarei County Council in pursuance of Section 131 of "The Public Works Act, 1908," has had a Plan prepared of a certain road containing 2Ac. Or. 33.2 P. adjoining Sections 86 and 87, Parish of Hikurangi, Block IV., Puma S.D. (Plan No. 22893), which road the said Council proposes to stop and close under the said Act. AND NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of the said Act, that all persons having any objections to the proposed Closing of the said Road, must lodge such objections in writing at the Office of the Whangarei County Council on or before the 24th day of AUGUST, 1924.
