PREFERENTIAL TARIFF.
REMOVAL MOOTED. IN FEDERAL SENATE. (Received 11.35 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. Consequent upon the recent decision of the House of Commons an early effort is to bo made to induce the Federal Parliament to abolish the tariff duties which give preference to British goods. In the Senate Messrs Duncan and Lynch have given notices of motion having as -their object the removal of preferences. —A. and N.Z.
