FRUIT-GROWING.
AN EXPANDING INDUSTRY. (Received 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. At the annual conference of the New South Wales Fruit-growers , Association Mr Chaffney said that the area devoted to fruit-growing in the past decade had shown a marked increase, tin- total being 92,666 acres. New South Wales had produced fruit valued at £1,673,720.— Af and N.Z.
