OPEN VERDICT.
THE MAKAMA TRAGEDY. WELLINGTON, November 30. At the inquest concerning the death of Miss Moran, a passenger 011 the Marama who disappeared from the ship after arri-val in Wellington Harbbour aiul whose body was recovered on Thursday, an open verdict was returned. A sister gave evidence that the deceased suffered from heart trouble and occasionally had attacks of giddiness.—Press Assn.
