to "Northern Advocate.") DARGAVILLE, This Day. At the annual meeting of the Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Committee the •election of officers resulted: Chairman, the Mayor; deputy chairman, Mr F: A. . Jones; secretary, Mr Hugh Brown. Tour schemes were brought forward, viz., a band rotunda and beautifying "the foreshore in Victoria Street; a jbridge of remembrance over Kaihu Uiver; cenotaph opposite the post office; and improving Memorial Park, :at Mangawhare, by erecting memorial rgates or a monument. This question ■will finally be settled ot the next meeting on December 14. It v.'hs decidcd to •call 'the scheme decided upon the Northern Wairoa Fallen Soldiers' IMemorial.
