The following are the results of the remaining events on the concluding day of the joint Franklin-Matamata Racing Club's meeting, held on the "Ellerslie course:— Morrinsville Hurdles?, of 250 sovs; one mile and three-quarters.—Pitts-worth, 10.4, 1; Hokemai, 9.2, 2; Flowing Bowl, 0.9, 3. Thiganthu, Prince Rufus and Elstow were scratched; Won by a length and a half. TimcJ —3min 40sec. Walton Handicap, of 150 sovs; one mile.—King Pcllicule, : 1; Bright Light, 9.7,; Arizona Maid, ,9:10, 3. Prettyman and Just Quietly were scratched. Won by a neck. Time —lmin 44 3-5 sec. Tirau Handicap, of 250 sovs; six furlongs. —Illumination, 9.5, • 1; Nocturne, 10.0, 2; Some Fashion, 9.3, 3. All started. Won by three-quarters of a length. Time —lmin, 23 3-ssec.
The totalisator turnover for the day was £42,015 10s, making £70,897 10s for the two days of the meeting
