The Minister of Agriculture said that the. newspapers «vere making unfair imputations out of the reference in his speech to the Wilford Estate. They suggested it was Mr Wilford's property, whereas Mr Wilford had pointed out that it was purchased by Mr Seddon from the Mudgway Estate and as a compliment to him as member of the district it was named the Wilford Estate.
