TRAVERSING NORTH POLE. RELIEF EXPEDITION BASE. (Received 1.10 p.in.) COPENHAGEN, June 14. The Norwegian expedition for the relief of Captain Armundsen's North Pole flight has established a base at Danes Island on the northwestern extremity of Spitzbergen, where the harbour is fairly free of ice.
