"DRY" CONSTANTINOPLE.
GOVERNOR'S DECREE. HARD TO ENFORCE. (Received 11.20 a.m.) CONSANTINOPLE. June 14. Following on a series of postponements the Governor has announced that Constantinople will be "dry" as from Friday. The decision has caused consternation and it is doubted if the Turkish police will be able to enforce the decree.—A. and N.Z.
