In consequcnce of the alteration in the railway and steamer services the following changes in the closing of mails have been made at the Whangarei Post Office: — For Auckland and South: per Manaia, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, 7 p.m.; per Kanieri, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, according to tide. Offices on the Northern railway,, and Russell: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, 6.40 a.m. and 2.40 p.m. Ohneawai and Hokianga: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, 6.40 a.m. Kaikohe: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, 6.40 a.m. Kamo and Hikurangi: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9 a.m. Kemo: 4 p.m. daily. Onerahi: Daily, 9 a.m. Man<raphi, Oakleigh, Waiotira, Mareretu and Waikiekie: Tueslay, Thursday, Saturday, 8 a.m. Portland and Limestone: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 4.45 p.m. OUTGOING MAILS Mails close at Whangaroi Post Office as follows:— Tuesday, January 31, 7 p.m. For Australian States, Ceylon, Indir., China, Japan, Straits Setlements, Sauth Africa, Egypt and Honolulu.
