Mr Victor Roberts, personal representative, for the Great McEwen, arrived in Whangarei this morning to make arrangements for the Great McEwen season. Mr R. M. Carter, who brought Levant and Keech to Whangarei some little time ago, is the director of the Great McEwan entertainments, to be given in Whangarei next week. The election of a director of the Auckland Farmers' Freezing Company, Ltd., to represent the Northern, or "C" shareholders, took place yesterday. The retiring director, Mr Charles Niabet, v/as re-elected with votes, his opponent, Mr William Grounds, receiving 4900 votes.
