TWO LARGE OUTBREAKS
OCCUR SIMULTANEOUSLY

SYDNEY, This Day.
Two early morning fires, one at Grace Brothers' furniture factory in Parraraatta Road and the other at Lasseter's big stores in York Street, started almost simultaneously. Both premises are still ablaze and the brigades are overtaxed. The (threatened damage is very seriou.s. —A. .and N.Z.

Both fires have been subdiued. In Lasseter's buildings three upper stories out of five floors, heavily stocked witih. machinery, were gutted. The damage by fire and water is veery heavy. At Grace Brothers' building two of the top floors were .gutted and the stocks of furniture destroyed or damaged. The total losses will run into a big figure.—A. and N.Z.
