During 1921 there were 1353 petitions submitted for consideration by the Judge in Divorce in Sydney. The number submitted in the previous year was 1431 (states the "Sydney Morning Ferald"). During the year 1250 cases were heard, and 715 decrees absolute were granted, compared with 775 decrees absolute in 1921. Although during the past year there was a decrease of 78 in the number of petitions lodged, the figures are still far in excess of those of a few years ago.
