THE COPELAND VERDICT.
DEATH IN PRISON CELL.

SIDNEY, This Day.
After the hearing of evidence concerning the death of Holly Copeland, a verdict "was returned that he murdered Marie Ward and later committed suicide by taking poison which he bad concealed in one of his boots.-^—A. and N.Z.
A Sydney cable message "on November 18 recorded: A man named Holly Cope* land, aged 46, who was arrested ont Wednesday an a charge of murdering Marie Ward at Redfern last Tuesday, was in great agony in his cell yesterday. He was removed to a hospital, where he died at practically the same hour as the victim of the murder.
