It 5 s practically certain that Mr Lloyd George, in view of the he&VJf calls of home affairs, will be unabla to attend the Washington Conference. It; is generally believed that Lord Corson will also be unable to attend. In any case the British representative Toll not be appointed before the agenda paper is received. —A. and N.Z.
