First event at 10.30 a.m. Competitors iby train will not be affected. 2.—Every appeal or protest must be lodged in writing with the Secretary within ten minutes after the event, accompanied by a fee of 10/-. Fee to be forfeited if protest not sustained. 3.- —Three entries for all events or no race. Five entries or no second prize. 4. —The Judge's decision in all eases to be final. s.—Non-competitors other than Sports officials must remain outside the Chopping and Sawing area (which will be fenced off) during a competition. This rule will be strictly adhered to. 6.—Betting on the ground absolutely prohibited. 7. —The Committee will not be re sponsible for any accidents that may occur during the Sports. B.—'Under no consideration will prompt«£s be allowed in the ring when Chopping events are in progress. 9. —One assistant allowed in Sawing events. 10.—Any competitor entering his saw or cutting his block with an axe when an event is about to start will be disqualified. 11.—The Committee reserve the right to alter the order of evejits if they think necessary.
