A TRIAL GAME

iWith a view to obtaining practice for the representative matches to be played in Auckland during the Easter, holidays the Whangarei "Cricket Association arranged for a match at the 'Maunu Road ground on Saturday [between the .player's chosen to visit Auckland and a mixed team from the four clubs in and near Whangarei.

MATCH AT TANGITERORIA. '

Arrangements are being made for 'a team of "Whangarei cricketers to visit Tangiteroria next Saturday for a match with the Tangiteroria Cricket Club. The names of seven or eight players who are willing to make the trip have been obtained by Mr H. Flewellyn, who expects to complete the eleven to-day or to-morrow.
