CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS COMPETITION Mr I?. H. Allan, the season's singles, champion of the Wliangarei Bowling Club, returned from Aifcldand to-day after having represented his club in the Champions tournament in Auckland on Friday and Saturday. He played three games in his section and won two, defeating E. T. Ball, of Dominion Road Club, by 39-13, and E. E. Daniels',; of Remuera Club by 20-8. Allan was beaten by A. .T. Parker of the Stanley Club by 20-12. Parker won the section with three wins and Allan was runner up with two. As a largo number of bowlers included in the party, of Dargaville sportsmen who will visit Wliangarei on Wednesday to witness the PalmcrCadman fight, have asked for a game of bowls, the following local team has been chosen to oppose them. —DelamoVe (lead), A.
