A .SEXUAL TRAGEDY. HUSBAND SHOT DEAD. (Received Noon.) SYDNEY, This Day. A sensational tragedy occurred at Inverell, 383 miles north of Sydney. Mrs Partington was living with a man named Dean. Her husband arrived anil tried to induce his wife to return to him. Dean intervened and drew a revolver. A running fight with reyolvcrs along the street followed between Farrington and Deen. -Farrington was -shot dead, Dean was severely wounded in the mouth, and a bystander was shot in the leg. Others had narrow escapes from flying bullets.—A. and X.Z.
