ATLANTIC YACHT RACE.

CHAMPIONSHIP OF SEAS, PROMOTED BY KING ALBERT. (Received 9.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Jan. 29. The Belgian Ambassador has announced that King Albert has offered a cup emblematic of the yachting championship of the seas for an international trans-Atlantic ratfte to be held next summer. All the competing craft are to be sailing yachts, without restriction as to size or rigging. The start is to be from Sandy Hook on July 4 and the finish at Ostend, the course being approximately 3300 nautical miles. Prizes will be offered beside? the cup. —A. and N.Z.
