Yesterday morning the Kamona came from ,tihe dock wharf to the end of Queen's wharf to take in cargo. iShe'was due to leave for Wha: ngarei, New Plymouth and Greymouth yesterday afternoon.
On Saturday evening the Kamo ar rived <at Auckland from Westport, and berthed at the Hobson iwiharf. The
Kamo, whiten brought 1876 tons of
coal, left Westport last.Tuesday, °nd ~ met with fine weather until Friday
evening, <when she encountered heavy « geas and a gale from the north-east.
The Rakanoa arrived from Adelaide on Saturday evening, and berthed at the Queen's wharf, the vessel lei£t Adelaide on January 1, and net with north-east and easterly winds during the voyage. Her cargo comprises superphosphates and salt. The Union Company's feighter Waihemo arfived from San (Francisco direct yesterday morning, and after being granted pratique berthed at the King's wharf. The Waihemo left San Francisco on Christmas Eve, and experienced fine weather all through the voyage except yesterday when a sottthmreet wind and heavy seas were encountered. The vessel brought a general cargo, of which 2070 tons are for Auckland: From this port Ihe Waihemo goes to Melbourne and other Australian ports to discharge the remainder of her cargo. ?Ih&Mmr Zealand Shipping Com-' fsany advise the following movements - of their Vessels: —
The Ruahine has sent a radio to the effect that she will arrive at Wellington fefrm London at noon next Wednesday. The Ruahine will later proceed to Auckland.
The Rimutaka left Newport News on January 12. Sh e is due at Auckland from London on February 12.
