Mr K. A. Wright (Wellington Suburbs) recently asked lie Minister of Defence whether all the bodies of New Zealand soldiers buried in Germany had been removed to France or elsewhere for re-burial

Sir R. H. Rhodes has replied as follows:—"The bodies referred to have not been removed for re-burial, but a report has been received that English graves in Germany are being well cared for in accordance with the Peace Treaty. The question of the removal of bodies of soldiers buried in (iormany is now under consideration by the Imperial War Graves CommisKion ,but no decision has yet been received by the New Zealand Government. The High Commissioner lias been again communicated with on this subject, and has been asked to press for an early decision."
