A reward of £1000 has been offered for information resulting in the arrest of a Sinn Fein "general" named Daniel Breen, aged 27. Breen, who was formerly a labourer, is described as "commandant of the Third Tipperary Brigade of the Bepublican Army." He is , alleged to be the leader of a .gang specialising -in murderous outrages, and is wanted on several charges of murder, including that of. Major Smyth, who was shot when searching a .house at Drumcondra last week. Breen is said t° have escaped by jumping from a window on to a green-house, injuring his legs.
