The Budget amusement tax proposals, limiting the tax to 3s tickets for theatrical and concert entertainments, was introduced in the House of Representatives and read a second time by 33 votes to 7.
The Bill increasing the postal and telegraphic rates passed the committee stage. —A. and N.Z.
