Preliminary proceedings have been taken in an action wherein Mark Bloch, 'a wheat investor, claims £1.----500,000 damages from the Government respecting losses on 1916-17 wheut. It as alleged that the damage was caused through the negligence of Government servants.—A. and N.Zj •
