The departure of the Garbeta is fixed for 5 o'clock to-night-The barquentine Senorrta left Newcastle with a cargo of coal for Auckland last Friday. The Union Company advise that the Rakanoa is expected to leave on Friday afternoon. The Maheno, which is due to arrive at Auckland fi'om Sydney this morning, will leave on her return trip at 5 p.m. on Thursday. The R.M.s. Niagara, en route from Vancouver to Auckland, is expected to arrive at Suva next Saturday. iShe is du e to reach Auckland on October 6.
The Athenic, which left Auckland last Friday, arriving at Wellington on Sunday, morning. She is announcied to sail from Wellington on Octojber 10 for Southampton and London, yia Panama. On Monday afternoon the R.M.s. Tahiti left for Vancouver, via ports, iwith passengers and cargo. She should reach Suva to-morrow, and .Honolulu on October 7. finally arriving at Vancouver on October 14. The coastal steamer Stella arrived ,at Auckland from Wellington yesterday morning, and anchored at the King's wharf. After discharging her .300 tons of general cargo she wili load scrap iron for Dunedin, for: swhich port she is expected to leave j on Friday. j Owing to delay at Wellington the 'Canadian Prospector was not expect,ed to leave t>ha't port for Auckland until yesterday afternoon. She is due to arrive to-morrow, and after her cargo from Vanicouver she will l° *' or t^ie Canadian Government. Her departure is tfixed for about October 5. Yesterday morning the barquentin c Wanganui arrived from Clarence and anchored at the Central wharf. •She brought a cargo of hardwood. The schooner War L»ord has arrived from Newcastle, and berthed at the Central wharf. She left Newcastle on September 16 with a cargo of coal. The War Lord is of 98 tons {burden, and was recently sold to •Messrs Clar e and Clare, of Gisborne. On Monday night the Rarawa left ifor Onehunga in order to resume the iOnehunga-New Plymouth service. •She will 'call at Portland, where she •will load cement for New Pymouth. Her departure from Onehunga for the Taranaki port has been fixed for Thursday. The Rimu, which has *een relieving the Rarawa during her absence on the Auckland-Whang-sarei run will leave Onehunga for Auckland, via Hokianga on Thursday. _. , ' It is advised that the steamer Port Firie, which is loading at New Plymouth for London, will now not go to Wellington as was first intended. ,Th"c vessel will return to Australia from New Plymouth on October 6, to fill up for London. . CaMe advice has been received by the C. and D. Line that .the. Port Stephens left Panama on September 19 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttclton, Duned'in, and Australfe in continuation of her voyage from New York. The vessel is due at Auckland on October 13, and at Dunedin about October 25. „, „ ... On Monday night the Shaw, Savrli and Albion Company's steamer Otira arrived at Auckland from Montreal and Sydney (Nova Scotia), and iberthed at the King's wharf next pnorning.
