Mor e valour than discretion was displayed by a man discovered in the Imperial Hotel, Auckland, on Saturday night', allegedly on burglary intent. The man's indiscretion lies particularly in the fact that the licensee is Mr Albert Lloyd, the wellknown heavyweight boxer, into whos e arms the intruder ran after being found in hiding under the bed in Mrs Lloyd's room. It is stated that when detected by Mrs Lloyd he rushed at that lady and attempted to seiz c her by the throat, but becoming alarmed by her loud calls for help rushed down the stairs in the hope of escaping and found his egress effectively 'barred by the licensee. He was held securely until th c police arrived and took him into custody. A search of his pockets is said to have revealed several articles of jewellery belonging to Mrs Lloyd. Further developments will take place at the Police Court. It is better to use Nazol too freely than too carefully for inhalation.
